ABOUT US

What we do?

At Westminster Advocate Service™, we are proud to be the first and only Deaf-led private advocacy organisation in the UK, providing swift, effective, and personalised solutions to even the most complex issues. Our mission is to cut through unnecessary bureaucracy and focus on what truly matters: advocating for individuals and families to achieve tangible results. Founded by Marcus Edmond Turley, our service bridges the gap between people’s needs and systems often weighed down by red tape.

WHY WE EXIST

Drawing on extensive experience in the charity and advocacy sectors, Marcus created Westminster Advocate Service to challenge slow and cumbersome processes that too often leave people without the timely support they need. Our team is made up of experienced professionals who deliver practical, results-driven advocacy tailored to address urgent, sensitive, and diverse matters.

WHAT WE DO

We’ve successfully handled a wide range of cases, including:

  • Housing Advocacy – Relocating individuals from unsafe or unsuitable housing conditions.

  • Safeguarding and Harassment – Addressing immediate concerns with local authorities and housing providers.

  • Disability Advocacy – Supporting clients with disabilities and communication needs to access vital services.

  • Navigating Complex Systems – Securing permanent housing or support by simplifying broken processes.

  • Legal Disputes – Protecting rights and wellbeing in urgent, high-impact matters.

PRIVATE CLIENT ADVOCACY

We proudly support private, self-funded clients, including high-net-worth individuals and families. For example, we advocate for parents of children with learning disabilities, ensuring their needs are fully met. Private clients benefit from a bespoke advocacy service delivered with care and professionalism. Fees are based on transparent fixed rates or hourly billing depending on the service.

Supporting Communication and Accessibility

Inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do. We offer British Sign Language (BSL) support and work with qualified interpreters to ensure Deaf and hard-of-hearing clients can fully access our services. Every voice deserves to be heard, and we make sure it is.

OUR APPROACH

We listen. We act. We deliver. Advocacy should produce results, not just process. Whether it’s housing, safeguarding, workplace discrimination, disability support, or private matters — we stand with our clients every step of the way.
